Recruitment & Selection Process

Entry Requirements

  • You must be Over 21¬†at the time of your application
  • Hold a Full UK Manual driving licence AND have experience driving large (van size) vehicles. (No more than three endorsement points. In exceptional circumstances a maximum of six points may be considered).
  • Physically fit-able to undertake the manual handling of patients and equipment using appropriate support.
  • Ideally you will be able to demonstrate relevant experience working in an ambulance or care environment

All clinical applicants are subject to the same screening process, we have robust compliance processes in place that must be completed prior to you commencing any work. We require the following documents to be complete:

  • Original clinical qualifications
  • Professional Registration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Passport
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Blue Light Driving Qualification (if applicable)

  • Mandatory Training Certificates

Selection

In addition to our compliance checks we hold recruitment days every month at our Headquarters. Applicants are invited to attend an interview, group assessment and driving assessment as part of the selection process, the selection process is also an opportunity for you to get to know us and find out more about how we work.

Career Development

Once you have successfully completed the selection process and your compliance checks you are ready to work, you will be issued with uniform and an ID badge and invited to attend an induction and familiarisation session. Once you have started working for us we will work with you to create a structured development plan to ensure progress safely and effectively.
