Our Infection Prevention and Control training courses allows health care professionals to further develop their skills and knowledge for dealing with patients with infections. It focuses on the best medical practices in caring for infectious patients and how best to prevent cross infection to others.
This two-day course is led by trained medical professionals with years of experience in a front-line role. It will combines lectures and group discussions with practical exercises to cement delegate knowledge on this important topic. Upon completion of the course, it is expected that delegates will use their new skills to help apply infection control principles in their own place of work.
Our safe moving and handling course is for health care professionals and home carers who are expected to move, lift, and handle another persons as part of their regular routine. This in-depth course is run by fully-qualified medical professionals, with years of experience in the safe moving and handling of patients.
The course covers a range of techniques that the delegates may be expected to employ to assist someone with an illness or disability. This includes helping someone in and out of bed, sitting and standing, getting in and out of a vehicle, and so on.
